Most residents come to the House with nothing to their name except a beat up cell phone and an empty wallet. The rare exception is someone who has hoarder tendencies, and owns tons of worthless shit. Since they can’t afford storage and they’ve lost all of their friends, they try to get us to take it, into the garage. Usually we say, “No.” Every once in a while, though, the House Manager doing intake makes an error in judgement, usually to prevent a front yard that looks like a rummage sale. Well, none of us appreciated this guy’s shit everywhere, and finally one of the manager’s confronted the resident.
